iLightning version 1.1 has been approved, and is now available on the App Store. It's a free update, that includes all the features I mentioned in my last update (below).
Hi folks! At long last, I've submitted iLightning v1.1 to Apple, for approval. It should be available in the App Store in a few days.
New Features:
Version 1.1's taking longer to finish up than I foresaw. There's no major obstacle; I just haven't been able to devote sufficient time to it.
Work is progressing, though. I just wanted to let you folks know the situation.
Hmm. When I wrote the previous update, I thought to myself: "Don't announce anything until it's ready to ship". Lesson learned.
I'll be releasing an update next week that adds some cool new features. You'll get a new settings panel that allows you to customize iLightning to your tastes.
Some people think the "Lightning Bolt!" voice is funny; others hate it. No problemo, now you can enable or disable it as you see fit. Here's a list of the upcoming customizable options:
